Anna Hennings

My work explores the theories and ideas of space and it’s poetic definitions within the legacy of Minimalism.

Space: an unoccupied seat; an interval between two points; time; a pause; the freedom and scope to live and develop as one wishes; a blank between typed or written words or characters.

Architectural space; personal space; negative space; poetic space; emotionally charged space; making space; Minimalism; phenomenology; manipulation of space; how we use space; how we move through a space; absence; the space we leave behind.

So much space yet still not enough.
